still thankful for...

a very amazing and awesome career

all adjectives except for awesome and amazing (this is the last time I will use them. Ever!)

technology - it makes it easy to talk to josh while he's on the other side of the world (Ok, i looked it up, the opposite of the world if you stay in the northern hemisphere is a city in northern china called Sonid Youqi. The exact opposite of the world from where I live is the southern part of the Indian Ocean, midpoint between the very southern tip of australia and africa, so maybe he's only three quarters or so of half way around the world from me, but either way he is far.)

my talents - I'm diving into creative outlets to keep my mind off of things. It's worked fairly well so far

my big sparkly ring, that josh asked if I wanted to replace with a 2 carat diamond which i turned down (WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!?!) my excuse was that it wouldn't have the sentimental value that my diamond does. bah. regret.

summer, because this morning I woke up to this:

disclaimer: sorry for being so whiny today

Sometimes I look at my ring and I notice there are little flaws in it. Some of the details have faded and could use a little care. But, I would never have any other ring. The reason mine is flawed is because its old. Hand made. And I love it.

You made the right decision. The bigger the ring the more it gets stuck on things any way. :)
