When the wind comes right behind the rain
If you know me at all, you would know my favorite way to waste time is to take pictures. So thats what I did while the army was wasting my time yet again.
Again, he is just my favorite kid EVAR!!!
This is Rohaan waiting to see daddy Allen

This was right after they got married. I don't have any pictures of the wedding because I was using their camera to take pictures for them. As soon as I get copies I will write a whole entry on their wedding.

We went to Red Lobster afterwards and I made Joey eat a lemon just so I could get a picture of this.
And then later that night we were in a tornado! I know, right?! This is the hotel lobby which is supposedly tornado-proof. Well, tornado-safe. I don't know that anything is completely tornado proof.

And this is my dad watching the tornado. I couldn't get a picture of it.

And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet

Eric looks just like the hippo
He stole it from Rohaan so he could play with it himself.
I took a few pictures. I know they'll come in handy when I want a favor from him someday.
Rohaan and Eric floating around the pool.
Eric is going to make such a good uncle

This concludes day 3. Day 4 will be posted tomorrow.

OKLAHOMA where the wind comes sweeping through the plains
Allen and Maria got married in Lawton, OK. It was the day before he graduated basic training. We drove there. Wish we hadn't. I hate airline ticket prices.
We left around 7pm on Sunday the 7th, drove for about 7 hours then stayed in a shady motel in Cortez.

Just waking up and smelling Joey's breath.
Rohaan and Joey. They are BFF.

Joey, my full time photographer, yelled "Blue steel!" at me, and so as not to disappoint my fans, I gave them what they wanted. Thats Eric on the left and my Daddy on the right.
If I punch you from another state can you still file assault charges? Notice Rohaan punching towards the camera. He's such a glory hog.
Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico stink so I stayed on the utah side while I ate my five dolla snow cone. Ok it was really 50 cents, I would NEVER pay that much money for sugar-ice.

This is me swearing when I realized we had a flat tire. Notice you can see me starting to form the letter "F". Don't worry, no children were in the car.
Waiting for our tire to be fixed. Joey wanted in my car so I made him earn it by making sad faces against my glass.
Katee finds shade wherever she can. It was over 100 degrees.
And this is the only picture I got while driving through Albequerque. Why? It was nothing special.
So that was day 1 and 2 of our trip. I'll work on day 3 and on when I feel like it. Might take a while. I'm pretty lazy.

Liberty park!

We saw this little kid riding his bike around in his undies by the wading pool and I had to get a picture. The girls kept giggling at him. I told them to grow up but I was laughing on the inside.

Chelsea decided that no sign saying "you must be under this height to ride" would stop her.
One thing I love about Liberty Park: I'm the minority.
I love spending time with those little kids when they haven't had too much sugar in them. But I have to admit I will never have that many. Just a couple hours with them could drive even the most devout mormon to alcoholism. I don't know how my mom does it (and remains sober)
